So far it has been a very exciting year in the NFL, but as of now in the season the main story is that this late in the season their are still two undefeated teams. The Indianapolis Colts are 11-0 and the New Orleans Saints are currently 11-0. For the Colts this is nothing new to them, they have been a very succesful and winning team for the last ten years, and the Colts just recently won the superbowl in 2007. The Colts have one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game in Peyton Manning, with his leadership and ability to throw the ball it makes the Colts very tough to beat. The Colts have recieved strong play their defense, and as long as their defense plays well, it is almost impossible to beat the Colts, because they have a tremendous offense.

The other 11-0 team the New Orleans Saints is also led by their MVP candidate quarterback Drew Brees. The Saints are the surprise team in the NFL this year, many thought they were going to be a good team but not this good. The Saints are the hottest team in football. They embarresed top notch programs this year like the New York Giants and the New England Patriots. The Saints, like the Colts have an unstoppable offense, Drew Brees has so many good recievers which gives him so many options on the field. Thus far in the season the Saints look like a superbowl contender, and if their defense keeps playing well we very well may see the Saints in the superbowl. Dont be surprised if you see the Colts and Saints in the superbowl, it would be an offensive showdown, which would make it very fun to watch.

Over thanksgiving break I got the chance to see the movie Paranormal Activity. This movie is about a young couple who move into what seems a nice suburban starter house. The two main characters in the film are Katie, and Micah who are dating. Katie has had an evil presence follow her and bother her while she is sleeping, Micah who is unsure if this is true or not decided to film when they sleep to see if anything unusual happens. The first few nights when he records a lot of strange unexplanable things occur. After they are 100% sure that there is an evil presence a lot of scary, freaky unexplainable things occur.

This movie reminded me of another horror movie that was built the same way called the Blair Witch Project. If you were a fan of the Blair Witch Project then I would definently reccomend this film. There were a few times when I was watching the movie when I got the chills because I was freaked out by what happended in the film. Overall I enjoyed the movie and I would definently reccomend to somebody who likes scary films.

It has been confirmed today that Notre Dame Head Coach Charlie Weis will not return next year to be the teams coach. Charlie Weis seemed perfect for the Notre Dame coaching position when he arrived in 2005. He had great success for the New England Patriots when he was running the offense as the offensive coordinator for six years, winning 3 super bowls.  Charlie Weis's had great success his first two years at Notre Dame. The team went 9-3 in first year as the coach, but ended up losing in the Fiesta bowl. The following year they even improved and went 10-3 but got blown out in the sugar bowl by almost 30 points. Notre Dame was then led by star quarter back Brady Quinn, who is now the starting quarterback for NFL team Cleveland Browns. After he graduated Weis has not been able to get the team back to "Notre Dame football" which means they are one of the top teams in the nation. The team this year were nationally ranked before the season started but they have lost almost every big game this season. It has been a very frustrated season for Notre Dame fans and had a lot of fans questioning if Weis could win the big game. As a result the Notre Dame athletic department has decided to fire Weis because he was never able to win the big game. They have not yet discussed who are canditates for the job next season. Charlie Weis's dream job turned into a nightmare.

Coming up in a few days is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days all year. It is always good to spend time with your family and eat the amazing food that my mother, aunt, and grandmother make. My family makes so much food that we will have left overs to last us for a while. Thanksgiving is a day where you catch up with your family and eat so much amazing food. I am very much looking forward to thanksgiving and spending time with my family.

Also coming right around the corner is christmas. Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year. To me it is just such a happy time. Christmas eve it is a tradition for my family and I to stay at my grandmothers house, where we open a few gifts from relatives, she cooks her famous ham and bouble mashed potatoes. We all sit in one room share laughs and open gifts. My family is what makes my christmas very special, I have great memories with my family every christmas and I am very much looking forward for christmas to come up in a month.

NBA 2k is a very popular video game that is made by EA Sports. NBA 2K is a basketball game that has all the teams and players in the National Basketball Association in it. It has been voted the past couple years the best basketball video game on the market. It is the most realistic, and best graphic game. The latest 2k game that came out was NBA 2K10. This game featured Kobe Bryant on the cover of it. Kobe Bryant's Los Angelos Lakers team won the NBA Finals, and he was named the finals MVP.

This game is very cool because on your X Box system or PS3 system it updates your rosters and players online. For example if a player from a team got hurt in a real game, they would take him off the game until he returns from his injury. Also if a player had a very good game the game would make him a better player in the game. This is great to do because the game is making it as realistic as possible. Another thing that I liked very much about this game was that the fatigue on the players were more realistic. If you held the turbo button for to long the players would get quicker faster. You have to be cautious on when to use turbo so that your players stay fresh for longer. Overall this was a very good game and I would reccomend this to a friend who is looking for a fun video game.

They New York Yankees are back in the world series and back to being the best team in baseball. With the signings of new players in the off season the Yankees have fixed the spot in the line up where they lacked. They signed two great all star pitchers in CC Sabathia (who was names ALCS MVP) and AJ Burnett, and arguably the best first basemen in the league in Mark Teixeira. These additions were huge, the Yankees finished with the best record in the MLB and are currently up 3-2 in the World Series against the Philidelphia Phillies. The Phillies are the reigning champs and are playing the Yankees tough, but with both games remaining in New York, it looks tough for Phili.

If the Yankees pull off the series this would be their 27 world series title, which makes them the most all time by a long shot. Alex Rodriguez who has struggled in previous post seasons has been playing great this playoffs. He has been criticized for his play in the past but he now is a huge reason why the Yankees are where they are now. He has had huge hits and home runs in the playoffs to get the Yankees over the hump. The Yankees have many great players and if they win just won more game, they will be named the best team in the league and World Champs.

For seventeen years Brett Favre was the Green Bay Packers quarterback, and the face of the organization. Many people believed that Brett Favre would retire as a Packer, but when Brett reached the age of 37 the organization wanted to move on to their quarterback of the future Aaron Rodgers. Last year in 2008 Brett Favre left the Packers to play for the New York Jets. In New York he started off to a great start and early in the season the team was first place in their tough division. Brett Favre did struggle though in the second half of the season and the Jets missed the playoffs by one game. When Brett struggled in the second half many people were questioning his comeback to join the Jets. After the season Brett said that it was time to retire but as the off season continued he realized that he still has love for the game and he felt that he could still play at a high level.

Brett made an agreement to play one more year with the Minnesota Vikings, and so far it looks like a wise desicion. Lastnight October, 5 he went against his old team Green Bay Packers and Brett had a great game. He looked like the Brett of old throwing 3 touch down passing, with no interceptions thrown. Brett became the only player in NFL history to beat all 32 teams in the NFL after lastnights win against the Packers. Brett Favre is going to be turning 40 this month, and he still plays the game like he's a teenager. Brett Favre has nothing to prove to anybody, he already holds many records and is arguably the best qaurter back ever. Brett Favre and the Vikings are off to a 4-0 start, lets see if they can continue to stay in first place through out the year.

The New York football Giants are off to a hot start, after yesterdays game they became 3-0. The New York Giants won the super bowl in 2007, and were the number 1 seed in the NFC playoffs. Many expected Giants do possibly repeat last year but due to key injuries and one team mate getting in trouble with the law the Giants lost in the second round of the playoffs.

Friday September 11, was the anniversary of the tragic attacks that occured in 2001. It is important that we take a moment and remember all the innocent people who died in this attack. Close to 3,000 people were killed and 6,000 plus were injured. I remember when the attacks happened, I was in the sixth grade. When we my teacher heard that a plane hit one of the World Trade Center Building she brought our class in the library to watch the TV to see what was going on. A little after she turned on the television another plane hit the other tower. Right then she new that it was more than an accident and she turned off the TV and brought back in the class room. That was an awful day for America and a very scary time for our country. Please take the time and remember everyone who lost their life during the attack.

The Twin Towers

Sean Carter also known as Jay Z is my favorite hip hop artist. Jay Z has been a musician even before i was alive but became big in the early 90's. Jay z has been making hit records and great music for such a long time and there is nothing slowing him down. His new cd called the Blueprint 3 comes out this Friday September 11, which has gotten great reviews. Some of his famous songs are; Hard Knock Life, Can I, Brooklyns Finest, Song Cry, and 99 Problems. Jay Z is from Brooklyn, New York and he is very proud to be from NY and usually shouts out to NY in all of his songs. Jay Z is a very succesful business man also. He owns Roca Wear, which is a very succesful clothing line. Jay Z is not your typical "rapper" he is very intelligant and raps about things that have meaning to him. He is the best rapper I have ever heard and I feel that he has revolutionized hip hop in many ways.
